If I could be allowed to get a little "psychological" here... Psychoanalyzing artwork is a time-honored tradition for us shrinks.

Aside from the obvious contradiction and conflict between the ugly words and the beautiful picture, which is anything but "icky"....

Does anyone else see this figure as so tense and rigid to look almost "straight-jacketed?"

A person (as many survivors of sexual trauma do)who sees their body as bad, shameful, scary and disgusting in anyway and cannot enjoy it, is like a soul trapped in the confinement of a straight jacket, unable to free itself from a horrible shameful existence.

There are paraplegics, on the other hand, who while truly physically unable to feel, sense, or move their body, can still manage to appreciate it somehow.

It is all in them mind, Little Sheep, all in the mind....not in the body.
